Want to say 'I LOVE YOU' and 'FUCK ICE' all at once? Amazing, me too. We've raised over $3,000 together, can we keep going?!

Over the last few weeks of ice storms and snow storms and cold weather, I've channeled my feelings of grief and rage into approximately a million cute af Valentine's pins that express just the tiniest sliver of that rage and grief and deep love and care for our communities in Minnesota, North Carolina, and everywhere else <3

The orgs this fundraiser is supporting:

Cempazúchitl Collective: Indigenous skill shares & discussions on occupied Dakhóta lands-creating space for cultural resilience, healing & ancestral wisdom. They're currently fundraising for rental assistance in MN, which is where the $$ from this fundraiser will be directed.
Siembra NC: A grassroots organization focused on defending Latines communities from abusive employers and landlords, ICE, and bad políticos

HOW TO PHYSICALLY DONATE AND RESERVE YOUR PINS/CHECKOUT ON THE WEBSITE:

You'll first select the pin(s) you would like, checkout, and then navigating over to Venmo to make the payment

Step 1: PIN SELECTION

Select the items below to select which pin(s) you'd like and then add them to your cart. There are a few style variations, so check out all the listings to see what's available:

Step 2: CHECK OUT ON SHOPIFY

Even though you're paying via venmo, you'll check out via shopify. Your order amount should be $0 (unless you selected shipping, it will be $8); please still check out to reserve your pin(s)!!

Exception: if you need shipping, you should be able to pay for that directly here. If not, send along an additional $8 on venmo with the memo line 'shipping'

SHIPPING/PICKUP INFO:

PICKUP: If you live in Durham or close, we can arrange a free pickup spot; please select 'DELIVERY' as your shipping option at checkout and I'll be in touch to coordinate.
NOTE: this hasn’t been working perfectly and I’m actively trying to fix this; in the meantime, if you can only select ‘shipping’ either message me OR check out and pay for shipping and I’ll refund the shipping if you reach out and let me know you’ll be picking up locally. Sorry for the confusion and appreciate y’all’s patience <3
SHIPPING: If you would like shipping, you can either pay here via credit card when you check out OR please add an additional $8 to your venmo donation and let me know that you'd like shipping in the memo line.
I'll be shipping out as I'm able and will do my best to make a mail run every 1-2 days and it should take 5-8 business days to get to you (although it may be a little slower) and packages will have tracking. Shipping in the US is a flat $8 rate; if you need expedited shipping or you're outside the US select 'DELIVERY' and pm me to figure it out after you've put your order in. Note that delivery fees are not considered donations.

REMINDER: Pins come with a sliding scale donation of $40-$80+ to receive 1 pin gift; if you would like more than 1 pin, please scale your donation accordingly (ex: 2 pins $80-$160+, 3 pins $120-$240+)

Pins are first-come, first serve, so choose your favorite! The listings will automatically update with what's currently available and I might add some new pins when I have more rage and grief to process, but no promises <3

You receive ONE pin with a donation of $40+; if you'd like MORE than 1 pin, you'll need to scale your donation accordingly:
Ex: 2 pins with a donation of $80-$160+, 3 standard pins with a donation of $120-$240+ etc. etc.

$25-$65+ from every pin will be split between Siembra NC and Cempazúchitl Collective's rent assistance fundraiser.

While these pins have been a labor of love and deep rage, they've also taken a lot of work. So I've changed up the model to make it make sense while still being a fundraiser first and foremost. Beading is not a speedy process and I am not a speedy beader and so realistically I'd have to charge about $75-$95 per pin to break even across supplies and labor, which wouldn't usually make sense to do. This time around, I'm paying myself a small amount for some of the work (although still donating the majority of my labor) in addition to covering supply costs. So we're pricing for raising $$$ and to keep me above water. Questions? Feel free to reach out!
